The Directorate General of Civil Aviation removed Capt Vikram Mohan Dayal, who was the vice-president of pilot training at Vistara. This action was taken against the official because there were mistakes found in the training of pilots, especially in what is known as ‘conversion training.’

The investigation revealed that more than 10 pilots had issues with their conversion training. Because of this, the DGCA decided to take action against the head of training at Vistara.

Several pilots have expressed concerns about the training standards and quality of training provided by Vistara. They mentioned that there are delays in pilots being cleared for service, among other problems.
